With just one week to produce the stage flooring and backdrop for the Mark Ronson & The Business International tour, exceptionally speedy delivery of Harlequin Cascade flooring was crucial. Better known as a popular dance floor, white Harlequin Cascade was selected by Stage and Event scenery design specialists Back2front as a key element in the set designed for the tour. Jayne of Back2front picks up the story. “Using Harlequin Cascade flooring, and before scenic painting could begin, the team first mapped out the grid which proved to be a testing of mathematical wits, especially working 16th size for the backdrop! “The end result is very striking. Quite often the simpler designs are the best ! “
