New from British Harlequin is a roll out, slatted wood dance mat that is aimed at Hip-Hop and Tap dance styles. Making its debut at MOVE-IT 2010, the new Harlequin dance mat is being offered at an introductory price of £135 that includes VAT and free delivery within the UK.
When all that is needed is a hard wood surface to practice or perform Tap or Hip-Hop, then this canvas backed, slatted bamboo floor provides the answer. It can simply be rolled out to lay perfectly flat on practically any surface including carpeted floors. Bamboo used for the slats is widely recognized as renewable resource that regenerates, rapidly grows to maturity and is also suited to percussive dance styles such as flamenco or Irish dancing.
Available from Harlequin as a kit, the generously sized 1.9m x 1.83m roll is accompanied by a roll of Harlequin Reversible vinyl dance surface and colour co-ordinated tape. Reversible, the classic double-sided floor is available in a range of colour combinations that can be selected when ordering. Roll Straps are offered as an option.
